Blueberries are a challenge to grow in our area because of our soil composition. Our soil is too alkaline for blueberries, they like it to be more acidic. (If your area grows lots of Rhododendrons or Asialia's then you have the perfect soil)
None the less, they are worth the effort, I tried for many years to get our blueberries to prosper, with no luck, until I started to add a small amount of flowers of sulfur. I know it is not the organic way but I just gave in, just for the blueberry plants.
